New Website, Guiding Special, & How NZ Handled Covid

New Website

Thank you for being patient while we launch the new website. We have heard from some of our readers and know that there may still be a few wrinkles to smooth out, but overall we are very pleased and anxious to put the project behind us. I knew it would be a big one but I was not prepared for the amount of time and effort it required! Brooke took on the heavy weight stuff and we thank her for it. We'll continue to put finishing touches on it and will keep you informed as we go along. If you see anything or have any comments or suggestions, we would love to hear from you. Cathy

Last week we asked our readers to confirm their email addresses and we put all the confirming emails in a raffle for a RIO 5-weight line & some super buggers. And the winners is Renee Fitts! Thank you everyone for participating. You helped us out greatly.

Time is Running Out

Our late summer guiding special ends September 26. Come before then and save $100 on a day of guided fishing, one or two anglers. Scroll back to our August 19, blog for the details. As I write this the stream is in great shape, the sun is shining, and it feels like early fall. It would be a great day to be on the water!

How New Zealand handles Covid

Here's an interesting story on what New Zealand decided to do when Covid reared it's ugly

head. Of course, New Zealand is an island and has a population of 5 million people, but still it's an interesting approach to handling Covid and obviously successful for them. Thank you to the People's Pharmacy for bring us the story.

That's it for this week. Have a safe week and get out and fish! Fall is short!
