Often we have a few different "news worthy" pieces of miscellaneous information that we want to share with you all. Rather than sending out multiple blogs and filling up your email, we decided that we will combine it all in one informational "Memo" blog. This will probably become a monthly habit and hopefully will help keep you in the loop with what's going on here in the office!
So, for September....
First, we just received our first shipment of the new 2014 Angler's Calendars. The photos in it are exclusively Barry & Cathy's and they are beautiful. It's a nice large wall calendar and would make a great gift. We have it on sale on our website for $12.99 (it lists for $14.99). You can find it by clicking here.
Secondly, we are working on finalizing details for our Christmas Island trip in January. I know it's only September but January isn't too far away. Here's what Cathy had to say about it- sounds like a great trip to me!
Warm tropical weather, lots of sunshine, white sand flats, bonefish, trevally, and lots more. You'll be so glad to be with us on Christmas Island. January 7-14, 2014. Christmas Island is a remote coral atoll in the Central Pacific which brags of consistently stable year-round weather. Bonefish and three species of trevally along with milkfish, queenfish, barracuda, parrotfish and triggerfish. Don't pass it up. Check out the itinerary, think about those long, cold, dark, blustery January days and get your spot! 7 night/6 days $2,350 per person, double occupancy, shared guide. Single room rates available.
If you would like more information about the Christmas Island trip, you can view more photos, the itinerary, and a video by clicking here.
And lastly, we've gotten a great response for our photo contest. Thank you to everyone who has sent in a photo. Nancy, Eddie & myself have enjoyed every one of them! It's going to be a tough decision! If you haven't emailed me your photo yet, there's still time. The contest ends next Wednesday, the 18th. Click here to see the details. Below is a collage of the entries from this week.
