Siunda & Pira Lodges
January 11 – 21, 2020
We can't think of a destination where we would rather be than fishing for golden dorado in January! For this departure we have combined two very special dorado lodges in northern Argentina – Siunda and Pira. So, pack up your 6-8 weight rods and lots of tropical clothing and join us!
Our group will fly into Buenos Aires, spend the night, and continue to Corrientes the next day. From Corrientes we transfer one and one-half hours to Siunda Lodge. At Siunda we will fish for three days plus the afternoon of arrival. Then we will transfer to Pira Lodge and fish most of the day on arrival and two more full days. At the conclusion of the trip, January 20, guests may choose to return to Buenos Aires and overnight or fly straight through to the states.
Suinda Lodge nestles on a grassy vista overlooking the Parana River and offers four bedrooms for up to eight guests in air conditioned suites. Pira offers 5 high-ceiling double rooms with private baths and A/C along an open corridor. The main lodge faces the swimming pool. Both offer superb Argentina cuisine and fine wines.
If you're looking for a fun, hungry, aggressive, hard-fighting fish, then you will find it in dorado. This is a new destination for us and we like the small size of the lodges, the boats, the excellent accommodations, and of course the dorado and other species available.
Please refer to the itinerary and image gallery for more details and information. We hope you will join us.
